4 Year Old Preschool:
These part two years have been a wonderful learning experience for both students and teachers. What a great time we shared, learning, laughing, and growing. It has been an extreme pleasure to have the opportunity to teach such loving children. Before they leave us to seek new endeavors, we will have a great month of May.
On Friday May 10th, we will have the Mother's Day Tea for both AM and PM classes. The children should arrive IN THE BREEZEWAY at 8:00 AM and the tea for the moms will start at 8:30 AM . If mom can't make it, maybe grandma, aunt, or baby-sitter can make it for you. Since this will be a special time for you and your child, we ask that you do not bring siblings, so that you child can have your undivided attention.
On Monday, May 20th, there will be a graduation ceremony in the gym. Children should arrive at tthe regular time. The ceremony for the AM class will begin at 8:30 AM and the PM class will begin at 12:30 PM. We ask that each family bring finger food to help celebrate the day (Reminder: No peanuts or peanut products!).
The on Wednesday, May 22nd, both classes will go on a field trip to the Akron Zoo. The classes will meet at the Zoo at 11:00 AM. Additional information to follow.
Friday, May 24th will be our lat day together and we will be celebrating both Mass and the Year End Picnic. The children have been practicing church prayers, preparing themselves for Sunday Mass with the family. Please arrive at 8:20 am and sit in the front right-side pews so the children can watch Father celebrate the liturgy.
The Year End Picnic will be held at the Sagamore Hills Township Park, located off of Valley View Road. Time will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All family members are welcome at the picnic. Everyone is to bring their own food for their own family. In the event of heavy rain, the picnic is canceled.
May you all have a very blessed summer vacation. We wish the graduates much success and happiness as they continue their education and spiritual growth in kindergarten and throughout their lives. Keep in touch!
