2022-2023 Scholarship Opportunities

Through the generous support of the St. Barnabas Endowment Fund, our school is once again pleased to offer a variety of need and merit-based scholarships for the upcoming school year, for students entering grades K-8. We want to recognize those families who continually go above and beyond within our school community each day as well as making St. Barnabas School an option for those families for which Catholic education is financially out of reach.

Newest Blazer Scholarship: Up to two (2) $500 scholarships to be awarded to a student transitioning from our Pre-K program to Kindergarten with financial need or special circumstances. Supplemental financial information will be collected on the application form.

St. Barnabas Blazer Opportunity Scholarship: Up to four (4) $1,500 scholarships, based on the desire for a Catholic education. Financial need and special circumstances will be explained in the parent essay. Special consideration will be given to families with multiple children. Supplemental financial information will be collected on the application form.

St. Barnabas Blazer Best Scholarship: One (1) $800 scholarship, for a minority student who desires a Catholic education. This student must exemplify the St. Barnabas School Mission by following the path of Christ and responsibility to self and service to others.

St. Barnabas Made To Thrive Scholarship: In the spirit of Pope St. John Paul II, up to five (5) $500 scholarships, to be awarded to a student who continually displays strength through Mind (maximizes their academic potential through their schoolwork and assisting others with theirs), Body (appreciates and respects the body gifted to them by God by establishing healthy habits), and Spirit (demonstrates and shares a passion for their faith).

St. Barnabas Altar Server Scholarship: Up to two (2) $250 scholarships, to be awarded to an Altar Server who has learned the process and structure of the mass and has provided superb support for the priests at both school and weekend Mass. Student also demonstrates a deep love of our Catholic faith and commitment to serving others and has gone above and beyond in the role of Altar Server. If you are an active Altar Server and would like to be considered, you must apply, but no essay or recommendation will be required.
