Congratulations to our St. Barnabas Science Olympians who competed at the State Science Olympiad at OSU on Saturday. We earned top 15 in 4 events: Towers (10th), Anatomy and Physiology (13th), Meteorology (15th), and Solar System (15th)! We also earned 16th place in Optics and 17th in Mystery Architecture. We accomplished this without any 9th graders on our team. Most schools had 5 freshman on their teams! The top 40 middle school teams in the state competed.

Team members are: Dominic Bellini,  David Brown, Raymond Conley, Megan Crowe, Nathan DeBenedictis, Emma Diedrich, Alyssa Donahue, Eden Fitzpatrick, Angie George, Nicholas Mitchell,  Michael Noe, Ethan Nopper, Grace Scullion, Ruth Scullion, Matthew Serdinak, Tatsuya Wachtl, Lily Zuschin and Max Zuschin.

We are so proud of our Olympians and can’t wait to return to States next year!
