Feastday of St. Brigid of Ireland

Developing body, mind and soul

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and in partnership with our parish community, we nurture

the seeds of faith and learning, cultivate the tree of knowledge and follow the path of Christ while serving others.

Here’s what’s happening...

Thursday Recap - We love our Teachers Thursday!!!

Thanks to all for the delicious lunch.  We all enjoyed sharing an hour together.  Thank you too for those who came in and helped with our classes so that we could enjoy lunch.

This afternoon we enjoyed quiet time while the students spent time silent reading, writing teacher appreciation notes and/or watching a short religious video.

We also had a special prayer alert today and wanted to share the message with all of you…

We interrupt this regularly scheduled school day for a prayer alert.  Please.  Stop where you are, stop what you are doing, and bow your head.

Today, in a special way, we pray for our eighth grade.

We begin, as we begin all things, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Dear God,

Please send your gift of patience upon the students in eighth grade.  May they be patient tomorrow during the staff vs. 8th grade volleyball game.  Please help them to refrain from ace-ing their serves against the faculty.  Encourage them not to spike the ball.  If they could stop blocking the staff shots, that would be wonderful, too.  Let them play with patience, understanding and camaraderie, as the game was intended to be played.

And God, please help the 8th graders to be gracious losers when the staff emerges victorious from the competition.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

This concludes our prayer alert.  Please continue to pray for all the participants of the staff vs. 8th grade volleyball game tomorrow.
