  • St. Barnabas School Hires New Principal

    Mr. Bradley Seislove has been selected as the next Principal of St. Barnabas Catholic School. Mr. Seislove is joining St. Barnabas School from Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) School in Cuyahoga Falls, where he has previously served as a Junior High Social Studies and Religion teacher, as well as most recently the Director of Technology and Cross Curriculum Integration. He is skilled in teaching students in the classroom and with leading colleagues in modern educational practices. Read more here.

  • Safety City

    Incoming St. Barnabas School Kindergartners are encouraged to attend the Summit County Sheriff's Safety City program this summer. Registration is due by May 17, 2024. Through the use of a miniature city, guest presenters, and other resources, the children will be instructed in many areas including bus, traffic, stranger, fire, and home safety.

  • Solar Eclipse Day Off

     As part of the #WeGiveCatholic incentive, St. Barnabas School earned a day off this spring and will be closed on April 8, 2024. We are joining many other Northeast Ohio Schools that will be closed to view the total solar eclipse. The anticipated viewing time will be approximately 3:00 PM.

  • Ignite 2024 - Tickets Available Now

    On Saturday, February 10, 2024, St. Barnabas School will host its 5th Annual Ignite Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg. Our focus for the 2024 Ignite Gala is to update and improve our campus safety and security systems. We welcome any St. Barnabas community member that would like to be involved with Ignite! There are many opportunities to contribute, from joining a committee, soliciting advertisers, helping lead a class basket, volunteering to setup or work the night of the event, or even just attending the event and raising your paddle to support St. Barnabas School - we are grateful for any and all support!  To learn more about Ignite, or for ways to get involved, click here.   • You can direct where your tax dollars are “spent” through the Angel Scholarship Fund, and you can feel good knowing that you turned your tax dollars into tuition for Catholic school students at St. Barnabas.

  • Grandparent's Day

    Tuesday, November 21.  Join your grandchild/ren at Mass at 11:30 AM.  After Mass, you may tour the school with your grandchild or take them to lunch off campus.  Grandparents should report directly to the church on arrival. Please email your child's teacher so they know how many special people to expect. This is an early release day with dismissal at 1:00PM  Buses will be running.

    Northeast Ohio's Online Day of Catholic Giving, #weGiveCatholic. This year, I am excited to announce that we are dedicating St. Barnabas Parish and School #weGiveCatholic Day of Giving to renovate and update our cafeteria.

  • Boosterthon Color Run

    Our annual Boosterthon Color Run fundraiser is underway, with the outdoor Color Run scheduled for Wednesday, September 13. This year the funds raised will be used to upgrade our playground with a rock-climbing wall, improved seating, and new basketball hoops. Click to learn more.

  • Spanish Enrichment

    Once again, we will be offering the Spanish Enrichment Program to students in grades K-8. Classes will be held after school for 30 minutes or 45 minutes for advanced students. Students will be taught in groups using flashcards, songs, and games. The cost is $7.00 per class for the 30-minute class or $10.00 per class for the 45-minute class.   • We are very excited to share with you that choosing and investing in the gift of Catholic education at St. Barnabas Catholic School just became even more accessible and much easier for all families!

    Governor DeWine signed into law an amazing opportunity for every eligible K-12 Ohio student. Every Ohio student in grades K-12 is now eligible for an EdChoice Scholarship which can be used to attend private schools that meet the requirements for program participation. 

  • Summer Reading & Assignments

    Activities based on summer reading will be planned for the first few weeks of school. Feel free to utilize tools like Libby that allow you to easily borrow books and/or ebooks from your local library. Click here for the assignments.
