Overview
Each year, we select a unique school theme that ties to our focus for the year. Along with that, we select a model of Catholic/Christian living, often a Saint, that fits with our theme.
Our school theme for the 2026–2027 school year is Peacemakers Rebuilding His Church. This theme is especially meaningful as our parish church undergoes a year of physical rebuilding and renewal. Inspired by our patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi, we will remind students that the Church is not rebuilt through bricks and stone alone. It is also strengthened through the faith, love, forgiveness, hope, and peace that each of us brings to our community.
Throughout the year, students will pray, “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,” and learn what it means to be a peacemaker in their classrooms, homes, parish, and community. Each time students choose kindness over conflict, forgiveness over hurt, hope over despair, and love over hatred, they help build one another up and rebuild His Church.
