Tuition for the 2023-24 School Year

2023-2024 St. Barnabas School Tuition Policy

We at St. Barnabas School understand it is a choice and investment to provide your students a Catholic education. A St. Barnabas education provides a foundation for personal success including academic excellence along with the reinforcement of Catholic faith and formation. The decision to provide a student with these foundations also coincides with financial sacrifice. The Diocese of Cleveland is able to offer opportunities for tuition assistance to help ease family financial burdens for those that qualify.

Tuition Assistance & Grants

Diocesan Tuition Assistance (DTA)

Diocesan Tuition Assistance is available for those who qualify and is awarded annually. The Diocesan Tuition Assistance program offers needs-based financial assistance to families with K-12 students attending a Catholic school in the Diocese of Cleveland. These funds are raised through the generosity of donors and the work of the Catholic Community Foundation.

  • FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, an independent third-party company, conducts the financial need analysis for the Diocese and St. Barnabas School students.
  • FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment does not set any income guidelines or have restrictions on who may apply for financial aid. If you feel your family should receive financial aid, it is to your benefit to apply.
  • Only one application is required to be considered for both Diocesan Tuition Aid and Parish Tuition Grants.
  • There is a $35 application fee paid directly to FACTS.
  • If you have siblings attending another school that uses FACTS, you only need to apply once. Funds are distributed in two rounds.
  • The deadline for round one completed applications is March 15 of each year for the following school year. Visit the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland Financial Aid & Scholarships website for more information.

Cosmas and Damian Parish or Mother of Sorrows Church with no delinquent tuition or fees owed. The family must also have first applied for Diocesan Tuition Aid as the same financial information is used to determine eligibility.  No separate application is needed.
