Overview
Our Preschool provides 2 and 3 day per week programs for 3 and 4-year-olds. We offer a nurturing environment, rich in social and emotional growth. Our team of highly qualified teachers and aides have over 30 years of experience preparing little ones to for a successful transition to Pre-K or Kindergarten. Our small class sizes ensure individualized attention and learning plans, and we never have more than a 9:1 teacher to student ratio, including a teacher and dedicated classroom aide. Along the way our students will be introduced to traditional subjects as well as field trips and creative play. Our preschool program is rich with traditional events including annual:
- Halloween performance and parade
- Thanksgiving Feast
- Mother's Day Tea
- Class parties for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day
- Monthly field trips for our 4's class
Schedule
Preschool 3s: Our Preschool 3s program is Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a morning session 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM, or an afternoon session 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM. Students must be 3 years old by August 1 and toilet trained.
Preschool 4s: Our Preschool 4s program is Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a morning session 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM, or an afternoon session 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM. Students must be 4 years old by August 1 and toilet trained.
Benefits & Services
Your Preschool student may be able to take advantage of St. Barnabas School’s many full-time, on-site auxiliary services which include a guidance counselor, speech and hearing pathologists as well as a clinic staffed by a registered nurse and certified health aide. Our Little Blazers program offers before and after school care beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. daily.
